📧 AI-aided Presentation Decks | 05.30.24

Hi there.

Ed here.

I’m writing to you from beautiful Montréal, Canada. If you’re ever up here, go to Schwartz’s Deli. Trust me.

OK, now project management stuff. I give a lot of PowerPoint presentations in my daily work. I’m guessing you do, too.

I like giving presentations. I gave one today. But I don’t like preparing slide decks.

Especially one-off slide decks for very specific audiences (e.g. for one small group of stakeholders, for one specific meeting), which is a high percentage.

Most of these presentations aren’t original thought leadership but rather telling the weather.

AI is great at telling the weather, especially when it’s given a weather report and strict instructions to only report the weather it’s been given.

A few months ago, I stumbled across a tool called Gamma that has 10x’d (clichéd, I know, but stay with me) the speed at which I create presentations.

The workflow looks like this ⤵️ Get signed into Gamma (click the link to access; it’s free 👇).

An entirely new way to present ideas

Gamma’s AI creates beautiful presentations, websites, and more. No design or coding skills required. Try it free today.

Click “Create New.”

Paste or import your information.

Give the AI some context (always give AI context!). You can also add original images and formatting guidelines, but it’s not required.

Pick a presentation theme and click “Generate.”

Then edit (always edit AI!), download, present, and receive a standing ovation 👏  !

That’s literally it. A full presentation, graphics, and formatting, downloadable in about 2 minutes.

tl;dr

I’ve 10x’d the speed of creating PowerPoint presentations using the Gamma AI app. It has a free basic plan, and it’s the only way I create presentations now. Click the link below to get access 👇.

I really hope this helps speed up your presentation workflow with AI!

Let me know if you find it as useful as I do.

Now I have to sleep. 7 am flight home tomorrow morning ✈️.

Let’s learn together.
